Jennifer Delaney is a self-taught artist with a passion for creating hand-drawn minimalistic artwork, using a variety of mediums including ink, pencil crayon, and oil. She creates pieces that reflect the breathtaking beauty of nature, where she draws most of her inspiration from. Driven by a desire to share the wonder of nature’s simplicity and elegance, Jennifer Delaney has built quite the collection of pieces. You can experience her simplistic, yet detailed, creations at various markets across the Okanagan. She is based in Kelowna, BC, but has travelled for many shows! You may recognize her work from the Calgary Stampede, Calgary Art Market, Circle Craft, Craft Culture, and the BC Home and Garden Show. How To Wash For maximum lifespan use cold water, delicate cycle, and let air dry or tumble dry. You can wash with warm or hot water and place in the dryer – but keep in mind that heat is the reason for shrinkage. Avoid using bleach as it will weaken the fibres and can cause the design to fade. Stains Treat immediately for best results. These are our go-to methods: 1. Pour baking soda directly on the wet stain + let sit. 2. Use bar soap and cold water on the stain. Rub the stained area together between your hands, rinsing with cold water and repeating until stain disappears.

Jennifer deliberately leaves out the background, branches, terrain and colour in her pieces to guide the viewer to focus on the animal’s character and personality, as well as the detail and beauty in her nature pieces.

Jennifer Delaney is based in Kelowna, BC. She spent most of her childhood in the Okanagan. She has done extensive travelling and feels very lucky to be Canadian and able to call this place her home.
